Minimum Outlook version need is 15.39 on High Sierra. Outlook 2011 won't work.

I did check your article before but it doesn't work.

My MS Part was 2016, included Outlook.

Afterward install the packageFunction 2016 for Mac Suite Installer ( https://support.function.com/en-us/article/Microsoft-Office-support-for-macOS-x-13-High-Sierra-80bbd3cc-2412-4593-988a-1c5607b26b28 ), the Outlook version is now become xiv.7.7

Simply then the email in Outlook now keep comes out a lot of error (e.g. password is wrong / cannot connect server .......)

I am certain all those data for the errors are correct (i.east. password / internet connection ....... )

Could anyone assistance, delight please!!

Your Office version should be 15.40 and minimum version needed for Outlook to function is fifteen.39.

14.7.7 is latest version for Role 2011 (given in above link).

If you have previous version of Office on your Mac, you will need to uninstall that and install the new version again.

All should exist well afterward this.

Yes, my Office is version xv.iv, simply the Outlook is go 14.7.7 after I install the package fromhttps://support.office.com/en-us/article/Microsoft-Office-support-for-macOS-x-13-High-Sierra-80bbd3cc-2412-4593-988a-1c5607b26b28

Then Outlook doesn't work!!

I have down loaded and installed the file Microsoft_Outlook_2016_15.40.17110800_Installer ,

But my Outlook still at version 14.7.7

Outlook xiv.7.7 is the Role 2011 version of Outlook.

Outlook 15.40 is the Part 2016 version of Outlook.

It sounds like y'all accept both versions on your Mac, and yous keep opening Outlook 2011 instead of Outlook 2016.

I think you are right, I saw a folder "Microsoft Part 2011" and some MS Office icons in Applications

Can I remove the Microsoft Office 2011, will information technology affect the Outlook 20016?

If not, do I just delete the the Microsoft Role 2011 folder (there are so many other things inside) or simply delete those MS 2011 icons?

If yous desire to remove Office 2011, please follow the steps:

OpenFinder >Applications
Find and so elevate theMicrosoft Office 2011 folder toTrash.
Restart your computer.

Generally, if you uninstall Office 2011, information technology won't impact Outlook 2016. But information technology is suggested to back up your emails. If you lot are positive that your Outlook 2016 has all your e-mail, contacts, tasks, etc, so y'all can safely remove Function 2011. The two applications do non have files in common.

How to completely remove Office for Mac 2011 - Microsoft Support

Your 2011 user data is the folder Microsoft User Data in the Documents binder. That is probable to be large. Deleting it will completely remove all Outlook 2011 information including email, contacts, etc from 2011, but it won't affect 2016.

If you followed prompts when installing Office 2016, all that stuff was imported from 2011 into 2016. If you need to manually bring it forward earlier deleting use File > Import in 2016. If you already did the import, if you exercise it again y'all will get double of everything and have a big mess to clean up, so don't re-import if you don't take to.

I had a issue were all the application was updated simply not Outlook.

Used this commodity to update merely Outlook with this packages: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-u.s.a./officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac

Issue was resolved.
